Below are some good camping websites that I’ve found to contain reliable information for campsite locations, trail maps, outdoor resources and other helpful tips.

U.S. National Park Service: Lists all of the national parks across the United States. Click on the map and see what camping opportunities exist in your area!

Fun Family Vacations:  Great planning website for your next family adventure.  Includes National Parks, Disney, Road Trips, and much more!

Pennsylvania State Parks: A great camping resource for Pennsylvania campgrounds, their amenities, locations, and reservation information.

Scouting Campouts: Provides a listing of scout-owned, public and private campgrounds.

The Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC): The official site of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of the 2,175-mile Appalachian National Scenic Trail.

KOA Campgrounds: The king of campgrounds, KOA has over 500 campground locations throughout the US, Canada, Mexico and Japan.

Outdoor Action Guide to Winter Camping: Provides information on trip planning, clothing, winter travel, and winter back-country skills.

The Great Outdoors: Includes inspiring photo galleries, action videos, stories, up to date news and profiles of the world’s top outdoor athletes.

Everything About RVing: A fun site with good information about RVs and Camping with some humor thrown in (at least we think it’s funny). So come on in and sit a spell.
